Meet Our Leadership Team
Hello! My name is Leanne Walls and I am the proud Owner of Kidz Quarterz Child Care Center, Inc. After graduating from Lebanon Valley College with a Bachelor Degree in Education, I realized that my heart and passion were for infants, toddlers and preschoolers. Molding the minds of young children, teaching them right from wrong, showing them how important it is to share and use manners, just seemed right to me.
Kidz Quarterz was developed around “family” with the understanding of how hard it is for parents to leave their children in someone else’s care. So, when the doors of Kidz Quarterz opened, they did so with the idea that my facility would be a place that provided quality childcare and was a “home away from home” for every child that was enrolled. Since 1994 we have proudly provided a caring, loving environment to thousands of children. Many of the relationships that I have built over the years with clients continue to this day. Friendships have formed and I have had the opportunity to see some of my children grow into young adults! Having staff, that once were cared for at Kidz Quarterz, now working and taking care of children in the facility is something that just makes me think “WOW” every time I see them in the classrooms. What a huge compliment!
When I am not busy with Kidz Quarterz, I can be found spending time with my husband, John, and our four children; Taylor, Shaylynn, Alaina and Keenan…who were all KQ Kidz too! I enjoy spending time at the beach, reading, spending time with friends and family, boating, and taking care of our dogs and cats.
Leanne Walls

Hello! My name is Jennifer, and I am the Director of Kidz Quarterz Child Care Center Inc. I have a degree in Social Science and have worked in early childhood education since 1994. I have two children, Sydnee and Daxx, who are now in college and high school but both started at Kidz Quarterz when they were just six weeks old. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, gardening, expanding my collection of plants, going out for sushi, watching my son’s baseball games, anything involving turtles, and, of course, the color green.
Working with children has always been my passion. I originally thought I would spend my career in the classroom, but over time I realized I was more drawn to supporting and guiding the teachers who care for children every day. I saw how much of a difference strong leadership, support, and training make, not just for staff, but for the children in their care. That’s what led me into childcare administration.
I wanted to be part of a center where children are supported in a setting built on kindness, respect, trust, and plenty of room for learning and fun. In March 2000, I accepted the Director position with Kidz Quarterz Child Care Center Inc.
More than 27 years later, I am still proud to serve as Director. I’ve helped the center grow, supported our staff, and built lasting relationships with families. Most importantly, I’ve stayed focused on providing quality care for children. Kidz Quarterz has an old-fashioned family feel that many describe as a child's "Home Away from Home."
One of the most meaningful parts of this work is seeing families return over the years. I’ve cared for siblings and later welcomed those same families back with children of their own. Some of the children I once cared for, who later became teachers here, are now bringing their own children to Kidz Quarterz. That full-circle connection is something I truly value.
I enjoy welcoming new families and building relationships based on open communication and trust. My door is always open for parents who have questions or concerns, or just want to talk something through. Every day is different, and I can’t imagine a more rewarding job than one filled with children’s laughter, hugs, and busy classrooms.
I believe Kidz Quarterz is a place where children are safe, supported, and encouraged to learn and grow at their own pace. Watching them move from infants into confident, capable children is something I never get tired of seeing. I look forward to continuing this work for many years to come as the Director of Kidz Quarterz Child Care Center Inc.
Jennifer Hower

Hello! My name is Taylor, and I am the Director of Operations of Kidz Quarterz Child Care Center Inc. I am a graduate of Lebanon Valley College with a degree in Digital Communications. During my time at LVC, I was a member of the Men’s Soccer Team and an active volunteer at local elementary schools near LVC’s campus. I reside locally in Camp Hill with my wife Annese and my two boys, Kenny and Theodore, who both attend Kidz Quarterz daily. I enjoy watching sports, playing outside with my family, camping, and going to the beach!
I am the original Kidz Quarterz kid! My mom, Leanne, opened the facility in 1994 after identifying a need for a quality daycare in the area. I’ve grown up around the facility, helping in unofficial roles until I was old enough to work at KQ’s Summer Camp in college. I can truly say that was my favorite job I’ve ever had, and it is a big reason why I’m helping run KQ today!
In 2020 I was given the opportunity to come back to KQ to be a part of their leadership team and to learn the day-to-day operations. I have enjoyed every moment since! Being able to provide great care to the kids and develop relationships with the KQ families is one of the best parts of my job. I truly enjoy watching all of the kids grow at their own pace and seeing the progress they make each day. It is incredibly special to be there on a child’s first day at KQ and be able to watch them learn and grow until they are old enough to go to “big kid school.”
As Director of Operations, I am committed to continuing the family values and high standards that have made Kidz Quarterz a trusted part of our community for more than 30 years. I look forward to welcoming new families to Kidz Quarterz and helping create a safe, nurturing, and fun environment where every child can learn, grow, and thrive!
