Caring for children aged 6 weeks to 8 years!
Our motto is “Quality Care When You’re Not There” and we believe quality childcare is essential for the success of the next generation!
Children who spend their daycare journey with us receive a great education, where they slowly learn daily routines that get them prepared for “big kid school.” Read below to find out more information about the programs we offer!
Infant Program
The Bunny Room is where our youngest learners begin their journey at Kidz Quarterz! Our caregivers provide a nurturing, safe environment where babies can adjust to daycare at their own pace while growing, learning, and exploring.
Daily routines are based on each child’s individual needs and will evolve as they grow. Infants may nap and eat on demand at first before gradually transitioning to scheduled naps, snacks, bottles, and table foods. Families are asked to clearly label bottles, food, bibs, pacifiers, bedding, and other personal items.
As babies develop, they’ll have opportunities for tummy time, sitting, crawling, pulling up, and eventually walking. Our room is filled with age-appropriate toys and activities designed to encourage exploration and development.
We also love getting outside! Weather permitting, children enjoy buggy rides and outdoor play throughout the year. Families will be asked to provide appropriate seasonal clothing, blankets, sunscreen, and sun hats as needed.
Parents can stay connected throughout the day through brightwheel updates, and our caregivers are always happy to answer questions and share how your little one’s day is going.
One Year Old Program
Age one is an exciting time of growth, learning, and newfound independence! Our toddlers follow a consistent daily schedule that includes meals, nap time, diaper checks, indoor and outdoor play, art and discovery activities, learning centers, and our favorite—Circle Time.
During Circle Time, children begin exploring letters, numbers, colors, shapes, animals, songs, and stories. We encourage communication and early social skills as children learn to express their wants and needs, practice simple manners, share with friends, and begin using basic signs.
As toddlers grow more independent, they are encouraged to participate in self-feeding and learn to use utensils while teachers provide support and supervision. Children also have opportunities to make choices during play and interact with their classmates and teachers.
Our young toddlers enjoy outdoor play twice each day, weather permitting, as well as hands-on art and discovery activities. From messy sensory experiences to creative projects and handprints and footprints, every day brings something new to explore!
Nap time is from 12:00 PM–2:30 PM, giving our busy toddlers plenty of time to rest and recharge. Children have their own designated nap space and mat, and pacifiers may still be used as needed.
We are so excited to watch our young toddlers learn, explore, and become more independent each day! Families will receive daily brightwheel updates to stay connected and see what their little one has been learning and enjoying throughout the day.
Two Year Old Program
Welcome to the two year old program! This is an exciting stage where our toddlers continue growing in independence, communication, and confidence. Our daily schedule includes meals, nap time, bathroom and diaper checks, indoor and outdoor play, art and discovery activities, learning centers, and Circle Time.
One of the biggest milestones in the two year old program is potty training! Children have access to the bathroom throughout the day, and our teachers work closely with families to support each child's individual progress. Every child develops at their own pace, and we celebrate each step toward greater independence!
During Circle Time, children practice recognizing letters, colors, shapes, and numbers, while beginning to explore letter sounds, counting, and identifying colors and shapes.
Mealtimes are another opportunity to practice independence. The older toddlers sit at a "big kid" table and continue developing their ability to use spoons and feed themselves. Teachers continue to closely supervise and support children during meals.
Social and communication skills become an important part of the older toddler experience. Children learn to play and share with friends, use their words to express their wants and needs, and practice manners such as "please" and "thank you."
Our Pandas have a scheduled nap time from 12:00 PM–2:30 PM, with each child having their own nap mat and designated space to rest. Children who wake early are encouraged to relax quietly on their mats.
Weather permitting, we enjoy outdoor playground time twice each day! We also enjoy Art and Discovery activities every day, where children can get hands-on with creative projects, explore new materials, and participate in age-appropriate science experiments.
Three Year Old Program
At three years old, our Bees are becoming more independent and ready to take on new challenges. We follow a familiar daily schedule while introducing more advanced learning, self-help skills, and opportunities to make choices throughout the day.
Our Circle Time grows with us! We explore the alphabet, letter sounds, and words that begin with each letter. The threes also start learning important personal information such as their full name, address, and birthday.
We also practice recognizing and writing upper and lowercase letters, numbers, and our names during daily handwriting practice. Developing scissor skills and other fine-motor abilities through art prepare us for the next stage of learning.
Our days are filled with hands-on Art, Discovery, small-motor activities, and learning centers that encourage creativity, problem-solving, and exploration. Children are encouraged to complete tasks independently while teachers provide guidance and support when needed.
Nap time remains from 12:00 PM–2:30 PM, but our threes become more responsible for their own rest routine. We practice helping set up our nap mats and cleaning up our spaces when nap time is over.
Outdoor play is a favorite part of the day! Weather permitting, we walk to the playground to enjoy outdoor play twice each day.
We love watching our three-year-olds become more confident, capable, and independent while building the skills they need for their next big adventure.
Four Year Old Program
At four years old, we are becoming confident, independent learners who are ready for new challenges. We follow a familiar daily schedule while building important skills for the next stage of our learning journey.
Our Circle Time becomes even more engaging as we explore the alphabet, beginning letter sounds, and introductory sight words. We also work on number recognition through 20 and counting through 50, while practicing important personal information such as our address, phone number, and birthday.
We continue practicing writing our first and last names, as well as simple sight words. Children also practice scissors and fine-motor skills through hands-on activities and creative projects.
Independence is a big part of our daily routine! Children learn to make their own nap mats, clean up after meals, snacks, art, and play, and take on classroom jobs. These responsibilities help children develop cooperation, confidence, and a sense of community as they learn to work with their peers.
Nap time remains from 12:00 PM–2:30 PM, giving us time to rest and recharge. We also enjoy music and movement throughout the day to keep our bodies active and our learning fun!
Weather permitting, we head outside to the playground twice each day. On rainy or cold days, we bring the fun indoors and enjoy active play in our indoor gym.
Pre-K Program
As our oldest classroom before kindergarten, the pre-k program focuses on helping children build the confidence, independence, and skills they need for their next big adventure into elementary school.
Our daily schedule is similar to the previous rooms. Each day includes circle time, hands-on Art, Discovery, science activities, scissor practice, and fine-motor learning.
We do an extended Circle Time that includes the alphabet, beginning letter sounds, and new sight words. Children practice writing their first names independently and work toward writing their full names using uppercase and lowercase letters. We also continue developing number recognition and counting skills through 100. We practice important personal information, including our address, phone number, and birthday.
Independence is an important part of the Tiger Room experience! Children take responsibility for making their own nap mats, cleaning up after meals, snacks, art, and play, and completing classroom jobs. These activities help build cooperation, responsibility, and confidence as children prepare for kindergarten.
Nap time remains from 12:00 PM–2:30 PM, giving children time to rest and recharge. We also enjoy music and movement throughout the day.
Weather permitting, our Tigers enjoy outdoor playground time twice each day. On cold or rainy days, we stay active with playtime in our indoor gym.
