Bees & Kangaroos
Children 3 and 4 years of age are found in our preschool rooms. Our goal with this age group is to prepare these children for Kindergarten. Emphasized are social and emotional development, hygiene, and language development through circle time, art activities, work time, and large motor movement.
Our preschool children are taught their full names, addresses and phone numbers when lessons like “stranger danger” are taught. Computers are introduced at this age and become a big part of our day! Children are also required to do simple tasks such as putting on their own outerwear, throwing out plates and spoons after eating, preparing sleep mats for nap, and cleaning up their work areas when they have completed an activity.
